The unknown can be exciting.

Living the adventure, not knowing what the future holds, brings spice to life.

But this stranger is naturally accompanied by apprehension and fear.

In some people, this feeling is so intense that a phobia develops.

Fear of the Unknown

This fear of the unknown relates to the lack of control over events, to the inevitability that accompanies them.

The unknown is full of surprises, and he can push us aside at any time, forcing us to step out of our comfort zone.

Beyond fear, it is also a way to live new experiences, to learn, to grow.

The fear of the unknown hides a lack of self-confidence.

Indeed, it induces that the phobic does not feel able to face the unforeseen.

This low self-esteem often finds its source in a painful past experience, where an unexpected event has occurred with noticeable consequences.
