How to do self therapy alone?
Caution : You must consult your doctor for your health. This page presents only a personal and alternative point of view which should not be considered as an attempt to prescribe medicine.
A therapy is a set of processes relating to a specific treatment.
In this article, we will see how it is possible to do self-therapy alone, knowing that we will be dealing with psychological therapy or psychotherapy.
By seeking to do self-therapy by yourself, you are therefore seeking to resolve your psychological "problems" without going through a mental health professional, whether it is a psychiatrist who will treat you with medication or a psychotherapist who will accompany you verbally.
Your decision makes complete sense and you should know that the mind, just like the body, has a self-healing mechanism called homeostasis.
In concrete terms, this means that your brain, your mind, your psyche, knows perfectly well how to heal itself from the psychic and emotional traumas it has suffered in the past.
Homeostasis wants the mind to find its perfect balance if we give it the means, in other words, if we do not block its healing process.
How to do your own psychoanalysis?
The concrete objective is to exteriorise your repressed emotions to get to know each other better to simply be happier.
But the person who seeks to do their own psychoanalysis can fall into many traps and make terrible mistakes.
This is the reason why it is always better to be guided.
However, unfortunately, even being guided by another person is risky in this world, because you depend on another person's consciousness to do your self-analysis.
Perhaps you're right! Doing self-therapy by yourself may be the best thing.
And as I often say to the people I coach in yoga therapy: you are your one and only master.
Your body knows exactly what it needs to heal!
Did you notice that I was talking about your body and not your mind?
Indeed, it is a very common mistake in psychotherapy when we try to heal the mind before healing the body.
In yoga therapy, it is completely the opposite, we assume that a healthy mind can ONLY develop in a healthy body.
Therefore, to regain your psychic balance, it is not a self-psychoanalysis that you need.
You need to reconnect with your body and to listen precisely to what it tells you to do.
Reconnecting with the body is the starting point for all healings, whether of the body or even of the mind.
In truth, reconnecting with your body also means reconnecting with your reptilian brain which manages your body.
Your reptilian brain corresponds to your unconscious brain, where ALL your unconscious processes are located, ALL your automatic conditioning, and also ALL your neuroses and your emotional and psychological blockages.
The solution for a successful self-analysis
To analyse yourself, don't make the mistake of going in to search and analyse your thoughts or beliefs.
You will waste a lot of time in your personal development.
On the other hand, I advise you, as Freud the great psychoanalyst used to do, dig into your unconscious, find your conditioning which shapes your conscious mind!
The person you are today is the result of all the emotional shocks of your past, all the traumas of your childhood and adolescence.
If Freud were to speak in public, you look like you are what your inner child wants you to be ...
In other words, you are suffocating under the weight of the suffering of your inner child and he only lives in your unconscious reptilian brain!
The perfect solution to do your self-therapy, your own psychoanalysis, your self-analysis, therefore, is to dive into your unconscious and that amounts to diving into your very bowels.
That is to say into your tense, blocked, rigid, and oppressed body through your fears and negative emotions.
I have carried out a free video workshop to explain to you how to access your reptilian brain to purge all your fears where you can overcome fear and all its negative emotions.
Believe me, you will learn more about yourself in 31 days (duration of the complete program) than in several years of psychotherapy.
